Grand Prix

Organiser goes free if there are 24 or more drivers

  • PRO-KARTS
  • This event is run on the 800 metre outdoor circuit
  • Computerised timing system to within 100th of a second
  • Twelve line outdoor score board for spectator viewing
  • Minimum number of drivers is 16 for Grand Prix
  • Meetings can average between 2 to 4 hours (depending on number of drivers entered)
  • Refreshments are available – please ask for details

Cost per driver:

£45 (800 metre outdoor circuit)

A deposit of £25 per driver is required to secure booking

(Driver Deposits are not Refundable & full payment for Event minimum number of drivers required)

Race Content

  1. Pace car to grid positions
  2. 3 HEATS of 8 racing laps with 1 rundown lap
  3. 1 FINAL of 10 racing laps plus rundown lap (Includes top 8 drivers resulting from heats)

Itinerary

  1. Booking in
  2. Safety equipment – race suites, balaclavas, helmets, and gloves (drivers required to wear trainers or full shoes)
  3. Safety briefing and kart familiarisation
  4. Heats
  5. Final
  6. Presentation of 1st, 2nd and 3rd trophies, bubbly and results pack to organiser

PLEASE NOTE: - Additional heats, semi-finals, finals for all drivers may be added to the Grand Prix Event. Ask for details.
